Foundation Presents at Lex Mundi Client Summit

On June 6-7, 2008, representatives of the Lex Mundi Pro Bono Foundation attended the Lex Mundi Client Summit in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, France.  In attendance were senior in-house lawyers from approximately 15 major multinational corporations who were the guests of Lex Mundi member firms that act as counsel for the corporations.  At a luncheon program held during the Summit, those in attendance were introduced to the work of the Foundation and its support of social entrepreneurship.  This was followed by a speech given by Dr. Pamela Hartigan, former Managing Director of the Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship, and current Director of Volans.  Dr. Hartigan is co-author of "The Power of Unreasonable People", a recently published book on social entrepreneurship.
