Foundation Presents Well-Received Segment at the Lex Mundi Regional Conference in Istanbul

The Lex Mundi Pro Bono Foundation presented a segment at the Lex Mundi Europe/Middle East/Africa Regional Conference that was held September 4-6, 2008, in Istanbul, Turkey.  The Foundation’s segment of the conference program featured Ibrahim Betil, a Senior Fellow of Ashoka, which is one of the Lex Mundi Pro Bono Foundation's partner organizations. 

Mr. Betil has more than 35 years experience in the industrial and financial sectors in Turkey and is a successful author and journalist.  His presentation focused on the work of the Community Volunteers Foundation, whose board he chairs.  The foundation seeks to harness the talents and energy of Turkish university students to involve them in community development projects.
