The Foundation Presents at the 2008 World Bank Development Marketplace

David Roll, Managing Director of the Lex Mundi Pro Bono Foundation, and Chloe Holderness, the Foundation’s Deputy Managing Director, presented at the 2008 World Bank Development Marketplace in Washington, DC, on September 28, 2008.  The Foundation’s session was part of the Marketplace’s “Knowledge Exchange Session on Technical Assistance and Advisory Services.”

Mr. Roll and Ms. Holderness met with small groups of Marketplace finalists to learn about their projects and educate them on the pro bono legal resources available through the Foundation and its affiliation with Lex Mundi, the world’s leading association of independent law firms.

The World Bank Development Marketplace is a forum to encourage cooperation within the development community in the search for solutions to reduce poverty. It is a competitive grant program that identifies and funds innovative and early-stage projects with high potential for development impact.
