Lemelson Foundation Dedicates Hall of Invention
On March 20, 2009, Chloe Holderness, Managing Director of the Lex Mundi Pro Bono Foundation, Dave Roll, the Foundation’s Associate Director, and their spouses attended the dedication of The Jerome and Dorothy Lemelson Hall of Invention at the newly renovated National Museum of American History on the mall in Washington, DC. The event was co-sponsored by the Lemelson Foundation and the National Collegiate Inventors and Innovators Alliance (NCIIA), both of which are partner/collaborators of the Lex Mundi Pro Bono Foundation.
Following the dedication, Chloe and Dave met with several of the award-winning student innovator teams who were showcasing their inventions. In the coming years, the Lex Mundi Pro Bono Foundation will be working with the Lemelson Foundation to provide pro bono legal services to invention-based social entrepreneurs and to create and launch a new legal content web site for the social sector in the U.S.
