Lex Mundi Pro Bono Foundation Meets with Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott, LLC

On November 4, 2009, Dave Roll, Associate Director of the Lex Mundi Pro Bono Foundation, traveled to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to meet with Tim Ryan (CEO), Mark Willard and 8-10 other lawyers at Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott, LLC.  The purpose of the meeting was to provide an overview of the work of the Foundation and to explain why it is so important to provide legal services to social entrepreneurs.  In addition, Dave Roll told the participants that the firm may be asked to provide pro bono legal assistance to I-LEAD, Youth Build and Communities for All, social entrepreneurs based in Philadelphia that have been designated as “Ashoka/Knight Communities Fellows”.
