Morrison & Foerster LLP hosts lunch for Lex Mundi Pro Bono Foundation

On November 19, 2009. Kathi Pugh (senior pro bono counsel), Peter Romo (counsel and member of the Pro Bono Committee) and Rachel Williams (pro bono manager) of Morrison & Foerster LLP met over lunch with Dave Roll, Associate Director of the Lex Mundi Pro Bono Foundation. The purpose of the luncheon meeting was to give Dave Roll an opportunity to explain how the Foundation works and how legal services play a vital part in helping social entrepreneurs build capacity and accomplish their missions of positive social change. Dave also told the participants that the firm might be asked to provide pro bono legal assistance to EngAGE, a social entrepreneur in Long Beach, California, that has been designated an “Ashoka/Knight Communities Fellow.”
