Structure Lab Explores Options for Structuring Social Ventures
If you are starting a new social venture or want to know about the wide range of options for structuring social enterprise, an organization called Structure Lab conducts one-day seminars in various cities in the U.S. that are very worthwhile. On April 22, Dave Roll, Associate Director of Lex Mundi Pro Bono Foundation, participated in a Structure Lab seminar at the New School in New York City. According to Dave, "the Structure Lab seminar enabled me to explore, understand and ask questions about all of the corporate structures and hybrid forms--the new and the old-- that accommodate mission, financing, growth, governance and merger and exit strategies. I found the seminar leader, Joy Anderson, and co-host Allen Bromberger of the law firm Perlman & Perlman, to be extremely knowledgeable and articulate." To find out more about Structure Lab or its parent, Criterion Ventures, just Google one or both.
