Victoria Dunning of Global Fund for Children and Geoff Cape of Evergreen Speak at 2007 Lex Mundi Regional Conference in Toronto

Victoria Dunning, Vice President of the Global Fund for Children, and Geoff Cape, Executive Director of Evergreen, were featured speakers at the 2007 Lex Mundi North America Regional Conference in Toronto.

Victoria Dunning gave a passionate speech about the current projects the Global Fund for Children is undertaking.  She provided examples of the dire circumstances some children around the world are facing today.  Geoff Cape spoke about Evergreen and its mission, which is to bring communities and nature together for the benefit of both.  He then went on to discuss his organization's current project, which is to transform an industrial brick-making factory in Toronto into a sustainable complex that will include a farmers’ market, a plant nursery, gardens, and nature trails.
