Lex Mundi Pro Bono Foundation Attends Global Social Venture Competition

On April 19, 2008, Chloe Holderness, Deputy Managing Director of the Lex Mundi Pro Bono Foundation, attended the UC Berkeley Global Social Venture Competition (GSVC) in San Francisco, California.  Morrison & Foerster LLP, Lex Mundi's member firm for California, led a well-received panel discussion on the many legal issues facing start-ups, particularly start-ups seeking to address social issues.

The GSVC is the largest and oldest student-led business plan competition that supports and promotes the creation and growth of successful social ventures in which financial and social goals are key elements.  For more information, please visit http://socialvc.net/.
