The Lex Mundi Pro Bono Foundation Establishes Three New Social Entrepreneur Collaborators

In order to provide compelling pro bono opportunities to Lex Mundi member firms around the world, the Foundation relies on collaborating organizations to help us source vetted, high-impact social entrepreneur clients. These organizations are on the front lines of supporting, funding, and accelerating the world’s leading social entrepreneurs. We team with these collaborators to provide the critical pro bono legal support that their respective social entrepreneur cohorts rely on to scale their impact. You can see a full list of our collaborators here.

The Foundation continually works to strengthen existing collaborator relationships as well as to source new ones. Recently, we connected with three organizations that fit the profile of the type of social enterprise collaborators we seek. We are very excited to support their social entrepreneurs! Read about them below.

SEED SPOT is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting all social entrepreneurs creating a product, service, or technology that improves lives or makes the world a better place.

SEED SPOT seeks to support entrepreneurs by surrounding them with the right access to resources, mentors, business fundamentals, community partners, capital sources, and anything they need to succeed. The Foundation will provide legal mentoring and pro bono legal support to their social entrepreneurs.

The Edwin Gould Foundation runs New York’s premier incubator for education-related social enterprises. The Accelerator selects early- and mid-stage organizations with the highest potential for impacting college outcomes for low-income students and provides consulting that helps leaders be their best so that their organizations’ can spread and scale.

AARP, the largest nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to empowering Americans 50 and older, recently became the new home for the "Purpose Prize," taking it over from encore.org. The Purpose Prize award honors extraordinary individuals who use their life experience to make a better future for all. Our own Founder, Dave Roll, was a 2009 Purpose Prize winner for his work with the Lex Mundi Pro Bono Foundation.

We are delighted to work closely with these three great organizations to provide their social entrepreneur cohorts pro bono legal assistance through the Lex Mundi network.
