Help a tech nonprofit draft a template employment agreement with government agencies that allow students to intern in their offices.
Coding it Forward has programs that place students in tech-related internships in state and local governments. Coding it Forward is the employer and the government agencies are volunteer offices. In the past, the agencies agreed to sign a simple MOU. However, this year, there will be a cost sharing model involved. Coding it Forward is seeking assistance drafting an updated contract addressing these changes. They place students in MA, CA, UT, TX, MA, NY and FL. An attorney can volunteer to draft the contract for any one of these jurisdictions.
