Honoring 10 Years of Service and Welcoming New Board Members

The Annual Conference and awards ceremony in New York provided an ideal forum to recognize the Foundation’s outgoing Managing Director, Chloe Holderness, for her outstanding contributions to the Lex Mundi Pro Bono Foundation over the past 10 years. Together with our Founder, Dave Roll, Chloe has been responsible for the Foundation’s growth and success from its earliest days. She recently stepped back from the Managing Director role but will continue to support the Foundation as a Senior Advisor and member of the Board of Directors.

We want to extend our deepest appreciation to Chloe for her leadership in building the Foundation into the world’s premier pro bono legal provider for social entrepreneurs and for her ongoing commitment and service to the Foundation. In addition to Chloe, the Foundation is honored to welcome five new members to our board of directors: Robert Granatstein (Blake, Cassels & Graydon, Canada, Alberta) David Greenwald (Jenner & Block LLP, USA, Illinois), Benjamin Haglund (Day Pitney LLP, USA, New Jersey), Fatima Laher (Bowmans, South Africa), and Michelle Lieberman (S. Horrowitz & Co., Israel). These new members join Daniel Del Rio (Basham, Ringe y Correa, Mexico), Amjad Khan (Afridi & Angell, United Arab Emirates), Pallavi Shroff (Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co., India), Tiziana Sucharitkul (Tilleke & Gibbins, Thailand) Carlos Umana (Brigard Urrutia, Colombia), and Michiel Wesseling (Houthoff, The Netherlands) in providing strategic leadership and guidance to the Foundation’s officers.

We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to outgoing board members Barbara Dawson (Snell & Wilmer, USA, Arizona), Alex Hertman (S. Horrowitz & Co., Israel) and Michael Ray (Womble Bond Dickinson, USA, North Carolina) for their dedicated leadership over many years.
